Rich History in the Community – For nearly 30 years, Woodbridge Child Center has been a trusted pillar in our community, providing exceptional care and education to generations of children. Established in 1995, our daycare has continuously evolved to meet the needs of local families, while maintaining our core values of compassion, excellence, and community engagement. In 2020, when many daycares closed in the wake of the COVID pandemic, WCC was able to remain open through the hard work of our staff and Board of Directors, alleviating our families of one of the many struggles faced in this time.

Strong Support of Learning Partners – Our deep-rooted connections within the community have fostered valuable partnerships with local organizations and educators. These collaborations enrich our curriculum and provide unique learning opportunities for our children. We regularly have library visits, music classes, and physical education. Moreover, we are able to incorporate educational field trips, fire safety visits, live animal education, and more throughout the school year. By integrating community resources into our program, we enhance the educational experience and instill a sense of civic pride and responsibility in our young learners.
Safe and Secure Environment – Your child’s safety is our top priority. Each classroom and hallways are monitored through our security systems. Doors to the facility are locked during daycare hours and require staff approval for entry. We are also conveniently located on the town green, next door to the police station and across the street from the fire station. Additionally, our staff is thoroughly trained in first-aid and emergency procedures to ensure a safe environment for all children.
Open and Transparent Communication – We value open communication with our families. You will receive regular day-to- day updates on your child’s progress through our Brightwheel app. Lead teachers may hold parent-teacher meetings to discuss overall development of your child, and meetings may be requested at any time. Parents may also communicate with teachers and the director through the convenience of the Brightwheel app. Additionally, director reports and updates from the parent led Board of Directors may be received by attending the Board of Directors meetings. These meetings are also an opportunity for parents to meet and have a voice at daycare.
